Brandon/Riverview
Brandon covers approximately 196 square miles in Hillsborough County and is roughly 12 miles away from the city of Tampa. Brandon has grown to a population of about 178,000 if you take into consideration the small nearby communities of Seffner, Valrico, Riverview, Mango, Durant, Bloomingdale, Lithia and Dover. Brandon has grown and it is a community with a very different feel from other parts of Tampa. It still has a bit of a small town feel, though it definately is no longer small. Many young families live in Brandon and commute to work in Tampa. Brandon real estate is one of the most affordable in the area. It is desireable due to it’s close proximity to downtown Tampa and also the Interstates I-4 and I-75.
