Cross Creek

There aren’t many communities within New Tampa that come without CDD fees, which often push a home’s price just beyond some homebuyer’s price ranges. Cross Creek was built before the onset of CDD’s, though. It offers 10 distinct neighborhoods with beautiful homes from the high $100,000’s to over $500,000.

Located just east of I-75 in New Tampa, Cross Creek provides convenient access to I-75, I-4 and I-275, as well as to medical facilities, restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Meadowood and Creekside, non-gated communities featuring close to 250 homes, are both located in the front of Cross Creek, closest to Bruce B Downs. These communities have tennis and basketball courts for residents’ use.

Misty Creek is located across the street from the New Tampa Regional Library and the ‘A’ rated Hunters Green Elementary School. There are 132 single family homes, the majority of which were built by M/I Homes, with a few built by Southern Crafted.

Kingshyre is a small gated community built by Southern Crafted Homes with only about 200 homes and is located almost in the center of Cross Creek. Kingshyre is located adjacent to the New Tampa Little League fields and a ¼ mile from the New Tampa Regional Library. There is small playground park with swings, playground equipment, sand box, and park benches.

Kingshyre’s sister neighborhood, Covington is another small gated community, with just 90 single family homes built by Engle Homes and Southern Crafted Homes. Although there are no parks or playgrounds within Covington, it’s located less than a ¼ mile walk from a public park and ‘A’ rated Pride Elementary School.

Meadowcreek is a community of 387 single family homes, all built by either M/I Homes or Inland Homes. Meadow Creek has a community park with a tennis court, basketball court and playground.

Creekwood is a gated community built solely by M/I Homes, located across the street from Meadow Creek. Containing 115 single family homes, Creekwood has a beautifully landscaped entry that leads up to the gates of the community. Homes generally run from 2,500 sf to 3,800 sf.

Magnolia Trace is a small, nicely landscaped, village of 83 homes built by Inland Homes. Homes in Magnolia Trace range from 2,000 to 2,700 sq. ft.

Pinehurst is a community of 186 homes. Homes in Pinehurst run from 1,250 to 1,750 sq. ft. and are within walking distance of Benito Middle School and the New Tampa Regional Library.

The Villas at Cross Creek is a condominium conversion and the only condominium complex within Cross Creek. The Villas at Cross Creek is one of the few condominium projects located in all of New Tampa that has homes with attached garages. Inside The Villas you’ll find a beautiful clubhouse with a community swimming pool.
